The pagodas themselves are now part of a sort of roundabout. The surrounding area s is full of tourist stalls selling tourist nik naks and some amazing wooden furniture . Large and probably made of teak - beautiful but not practical to buy.

Not so impressive I wouldnt go out of my way to visit A small market On the right side of the market almost inside a shop is a thai/burma railway memorial plaque pretty much the same as the hellfire pass and others

Very cheap shopping for alcohol cigarettes jewellery furniture etc though there is a limit on cigarettes and alcohol due to law.
