A rather beautiful smaller site to visit, a short walk from all the bigger draws. The afternoon is better as all the tours have been and gone. Save some money for the amazing array of Soviet badges in the shop overlooking the site.

This cute little building was inspired by Indian architecture and used as a small madrasah. It not very old. Now it is in use as a tourist shop.

This was a very phographic place and in a good light the blueness was spectacular. It isn't all that old as it was built in 1904 but it is a great site to see.

Admire the early 19th century Chor Minor Madrassah, whose four slender, blue -topped minarets give it its name. Difficult to find without local guide😀

This is an interesting place to look at but inside it is just a shop nowadays. Striking architecture but nothing to linger for.

It is a special building. You can visit the roof from the stairs through the store on the ground floor.

Some people like and some does not. I like it because it is a fanciful architecture that is never found anywhere else. It is not a very old building [XIX century], but it has its own character. Kitschy seems an artificial, stork's nest on one...More

Getting there is a task, as its a cab drive way from the old Bukhara town...you cant just walk down there. Its not a massive complex as some of the other landmark buildings, but has its own quite charm. The complex does make an excellent...More
