Overnight discovery cruises across the Mekong delta on board elegant wooden cruisers, in touch with nature, including visits on shore to the rural sceneries and local handicraft or floating markets. The Bassac are three elegant Mekong river boats entirely built of wood, accommodating 12 to 24 passengers with meals entirely cooked and baked on board, personal care and the unique scenery and ambiance of the Mekong delta.

This is a great way to experience the Mekong Delta. We found the boat, the facilities and the staff to be of an excellent standard, and the deck lounge spaces were excellent places to pass what free time on board we had. We shared the...More

Dear 50600ejea, Thank you for your appreciation. We are aware that the visit of Cái Bè itself is not the highlight of the journey, forced that we are to get near the road at the port of call, we also get nearer to tourist areas...More

Because recommended - despite the low season end of April with rain season just around the corner - we booked the 3 days tour on the Mekong with the cruise boat called "Vat Phou" (yes, like the temple). Eventually this turned out to be a...More

Hello, Thank you for your stellar review, but the boats we are operating are called the Bassac, and navigate the Mekong delta, nothing to do with Vat Phou. I would have loved to receive your comment, although I dare believe we would be worthy of...More

We spent one night on the Bassc 3, with only one other couple with us! We literally had the boat to ourselves....how wonderful is that?! The boat is OK, but a bit mucky in the public areas, to be honest. Cabins were clean, and quite...More

Four if us had a really fantastic overnight trip on Bassac 3 on the Mekong delta. The boat was very cleverly designed with each cabin having its own toilet/shower. The trip included a walk around one of the villages and a visit to a local's...More

A comfortable boat from which to view the Mekong delta with good food and excellent service. However the village tour was a disappointment with little local life explored except one final house visit.

We didn't travel with children, but there was a young boy on our cruise so they do cater for kids. The people who run the cruise are very helpful, so you could just email them and ask about cabins.

Hi.. Just starting to plan trip starting Feb 14th 2017. We will be spending a couple days in HCMC then would like to do overnight boat cruise of delta from your location in Can Tho. There are 4 of us. Wondering best way to get to Can Tho from HCMC. Also will leave from there and fly to Danang. Do we have to go all the way back to HCMC to fly out? Many thanks

There are flights between Can Tho and Danang, scheduled daily with Vietjet Air, That certainly saves 4 hours on the road, which you may spend doing something more enjoyable.
