In a splendid colonial building, the Haiphong Museum concentrates on the city's history. Some displays have English translations and the museum's garden harbours a diverse collection of war detritus.

Some of the archeological exhibits are unique. A dagger from 2500 BC is awesome. A 2000 year old bronze drum and bronze pails are impressive They don’t have a huge inventory but what they have is good

If you want to learn a little about past and present Haiphong an hour here will be of interest. It is not the best equipped of museums so one hour will suffice. I was there myself and not a single other visitor. very limited opening...More
