It is amazing but I suggest you to reach Trang An during the early morning when it is not crowded. You will enjoy calm, silence and nature sounds. And don’t forget to check the weather: prefer sunny days to enjoy shiny colours.

All the photos are true though don't come during high season because there will be WAY too many people queuing in a metal maze that makes Disneyland look like the corner store. Recommend route 2 for a less hectic experience.

We tried Trang An instead of Tam Coc boat tour because I read online that Tam Coc has lot of scam. Parking is across the road (VND15,000), take the ticket and pay when you exit. Upon arrival there is 3 boat tour to choose (Tour...More

Really enjoyed the boat trip, only given 4 stars instead of 5 because at the end he asked for a tip. We were going to tip anyway but thought it was a bit cheeky.

February is a no go for this attraction, unless you like 2 plus hours in a disorderly que then a squashed wait while you are herded across the road and gates closes behind you on the connecting bridge. This is then a bun fight to...More

This was part of a tour I had arranged and I was really looking forward to it. There are 3 river tour options depending on what you want to see. They all take between 2-3 hours and cost the same. I would recommend using the...More

We did this as part of a day trip excursion...so everything was arranged for us. That said, it appeared that it would have been very easy to find the Grotto area as it was well sign posted. Boats are "overly" plentiful...thankfully for us it was...More

There are three routes you choose, despite being in the correct lineup for route 1, and being asked 2 ce which route. We ended up on a route 3 Sampan, to be honest, it was very very busy with têt. Our boat had four passengers...More

It’s available for purchase at the entrance. However it’s difficult to go to Trang An town by yourself. If you are already in Hanoi city, the best way is to purchase a one-day trip from a tour agency. The trip will... More

Yes, there's a place outside to park the bikes. I think we paid something because it's guarded. No worries about it! It's easy to find ;) have fun!
