Mention the phrase 'floating market' to the average backpacker, and they are likely to think of the highly touristic and commercialized ones in the canals around Bangkok. These are now continued almost exclusively for the bus tour groups which come in here and pay too...More

Unique and authentique, very different compare to Thai Floating Market and other floating markets in south Asia. I think this is more intresting to visit

The place I know before from RCTI oke adv. The place is crowded. You can explore the rivers by using boat. And also you can purchased any item from the other seller boat. Its quite nice and refreshing.

I came to Banjarmasin for weekend trip. So, Pasar Apung is one attract thing place must to come. Woke up early morning, before sun shines, and rent a kelotok, and see so many great women who sell veggies and fruits. I love this moment.
