Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Just what we needed after climbing Mt Batur.
We visited after our climb and spent about an hour soaking in the warmth of the spring, the views and gorgeous and the staff were quiet but helpful.
The facilities are clean and fresh white towels provided with lockers and storage for your belongings.
Cold fresh juice served while your bathing in the spring.
I'd happily visit again and possible even stay for a few nights at a close by property and would recommend that you do too.

This place is wonderful to kick back and relax at for an afternoon. The hot pool isn't very hot but it is very relaxing with a gorgeous view. The food in the restaurant is good and quite well priced. Had a lovely time here.

Location and views are just too good for me to downgrade place to 1star.... 2 infinity pools have magnificent views and temperature is ok (its cooler than the ones in Banff but hot enough imo).
— that’s all for the good —
Place boasts many pools but only infinity ones are worth soaking in, the Olympic pool is filthy and cold: it might as well be sealed off for health reasons.
Bath is conjoined with urinals and the walls are..... organic (to put it kindly) it stinks too.
Staff from reception to the toilet entrance are the almost unBalinese in friendliness and service attitude. They seem there just for the job - with little initiative.
Overall I will return for the hot bath and views but nothing else.
This place certainly has potential for much more - let’s hope this review helps them shape up. Send ur staff for training or change them.

Batur volcano is large volcanic caldera formed huge caldera 13x9 km19,100 years ago, and the second explosion collapsed and formed the inner caldera 9,100 years ago formed mount and lake Batur. The caldera contain lake Batur and hot spring sources surrounding the the western part of the lake zone. One of the hot springs is designed for comercial pool, it is the Batur Natural Hot Spring (BNHS). The hot spring is bubbling out from the under neath in many zones on the lake sides.
The volcanic activity produced GT he hot spring naturally because kit is nthe natural heat by the volcanic activity. To take a bath and swim in the hot spring is not on aunytimea, because the volcanic sulphuric chemical include the carbon monoxide.

Definitely worth the extra money to go here instead of the other hot spring next door.
It wasn't quite what we expected, not what we envisioned hot springs to be, but was fun and relaxing nonetheless.
Great customer service.

The place is still undergo renovation since years, but thats good because they wanted to be better. The view was amazing, with lake Batur and mountain surrounding it. The hot spring not that hot nowadays but compares to chilling outside, you'll never want to get out from the pool. The bathrooms were clean with hot water. With entrance fee, you'll get welcome drink and a towel.
