Great square in front with a very famous sweet shop on the square. Beautiful at sunset with the changing light

This square is belong to 500 yeasrs ego which is originally for resting area for caravans. There is an beautifull blue arch with two minarets. In the middle there are some funtains and around the square there are some restaurants and old buildings.

It is free to visit this place!! but if you want to go upstairs, sometimes in new year's eve, they open the door to the rooftop and sell tickets for it but mostly it is closed. this place is really old but the constructions around...More

The best time to visit Amir Chakhmagh is at sunset when the sun sheds a perfect contrast in its facade. Perfect complex for sightseeing and shopping both at the same time.

Amir Chakhmaq complex is located at the centre of the historical center of Yazd. The facade overlooks a very big square around which there are many handicraft shops. The complex consists of a mosque, a watching tower and minarets. The mosque is still in use....More
