Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is our first visit here in 20 years, and we weren't disappointed. There is a "hanging path" over the stream, the roar of the water is deafening yet very soothing, and the views of the stream and the waterfall are stunning. The water is actually blue, and so clear you can see the fish swimming in the rapids. Paths are well marked and safe.
While covid-19 restrictions persist, you need to book on the website.
Well worth the visit.

After a nice winter full of rain the waterfall is amazing.
Less than 40 minutes.
Alot of stairs but a nice trip near the river and the waterfall.
Many places to sit on the side of the road.
About 30 nis per adult, maybe you have a discount from your hotel.

We went for the short walk to Banias Waterfalls - approx. 100 steep stony steps. When we got to the bottom it was well worth it as we were greeted by a powerful waterfall and arching rainbows over the water. The rains of the days before were worth it to see such a sight with all the gushing water. Just breathtaking!

A great sightseeing location, with one of the best waterfalls in the country. There is a lot to see here, so it's wise to set a day aside to do so

Now after the rains, the water is flowing and running, and the scenery is spectacular. For those who have difficulty walking for a long time, it is recommended to follow the path of the non-hanging path.

The hike is easy around 1:30hrs. You walk always next to the stream and mostly on shaded paths. It’s totally worth it the trip.

This place has it all, Ancient History, Biblical History, and Geographic significance. In addition it is one of the most beautiful and serene areas of Israel. The Banias is one of the three rivers that form up the Jordan River and empty into the Sea of Galilee. The water in the Banias is crystal clear and wildlife abounds including hyrax and fish species. This is also the location of Peter's great confession and furthest North of Jesus ministry.

Usually, you have to hike a lot in order to get to the beauty. Here, it's a leisurely walk with beautiful waterfalls throughout. We opted for the 45 minute walk which is not hard but there are many stairs so not stroller-friendly.

very lovely place. The ruins of Caesarea Phililpi are excellent.. The cave with the stream coming out of it is nice. The Remains of Temple of Pan are nice as well.
