It is a ancient city of 8th century. It is a nice strll through the ruins. You do not spend too much time but is a must see if you are in the area.

We went there with a guide and it was nice as she explained the history of the place. Its not a crowded place like baalbek for example so you can go there and be the only person visitng and there are not many signs explaining...More

Great place to visit , you feel the glory of that period , and the beautiful buildings and architect, only 3000lira entrance per person , i highly recommend to visit

At the Eastern edge of the Bekaa Valley in Central Lebanon is the small Armenian City of Anjar. This city is noted for it’s few Roman Sites as well as some of the best restaurants of Central Lebanon. My favorite Roman Site is Cardo Maximus....More
