I went to PD Ostrich Farm yesterday with my sister and nieces. The location is very strategic, very near to famous hotels and beach. Luckily for us it's only 5 minutes from our hotel. There are a lot of animals besides ostrich. My nieces had a great time feeding the ostrich, petting the donkey, rabbit, mice, riding the pony. This... More

Thank you, Shanley, for your visit and your feedback. As our name clearly states, we are not a mini zoo; we are a farm. Even tour agencies and walk-in guests when we tell them that we are a farm, they 'correct' us by saying, "oh, you are like a mini zoo". Well, No, we are not even like a mini... More

Good family fun place. Worth the admission ticket. However, they should include the grass for feeding the ostrich, goats, and donkeys as part of the admission fare, rather than a separate RM3.00 charge.

Thank you, niqnaqx, for your visit and review. We used to offer feed for free but too many visitors abused the free feed by insisting and even demanding for more and then wasting by throwing it randomly about the farm, including the packaging. The sale proceeds from the feed go to the staff fund. More

Having been to the ostrich farm in Desaru, this is clearly not a farm, more of a mini zoo. There are many animals that are available to get close up and even get some interaction with, and many are good for photos. I especially liked the little lambs. There are also horses, donkeys, lots of dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, and... More

Thank you, Marcus, for your visit and review. We are a show farm as indicated in our name, PD Ostrich Show Farm. The one in Desaru rears the birds for meat; we do not slaughter our birds. This is why some of our older birds are balding. Over the years, we have included many other farm animals and even pet... More

the place is not fantastic as some of the pet houses in bangi, however for a small area in PD it suffice to give tourist some attraction. Upon entering we were fortunate to see the so call ostrich show in which they pit the speed of the ostrich to the staff and some volunteer tourists. There is a separate section... More

Thank you ALFIEtbh for your visit and review. The PD Ostrich Show Farm is one of eight parks within the same area. The others are a Dog Park, a Cat Park, a Dinosaur Park, Herbal Oasis and others. Visitors pay for whichever park they wish to visit, based on their interest, budget, duration they want to spend outdoors, etc. This... More

Went over to the farm with my children aged 4 & 1. It was a enriching experience as we do not get to see these animals up close. For a small fee, the kids were able to feed the animals.

Buying ticket was a breeze. Kids love this educational park as you can buy animal feed to come up close to the animals. Children get to touch and feel some of these animals. Mosquito repellant will come in handy here

I visited the place with my Fiancé because of high ratings on TripAdvisor. However, it was very disappointing. Understand that the animals are old but they could have at least maintain the hygiene of their living environment. Service and quality is not worth 20 bucks per pax. There are no pricing board and prices were set by mouth. We are... More

Thank you Vera for your visit and review. We commiserate with your disappointment. The animal enclosures are cleaned twice a day. Animals poop whenever and wherever they like. Not all animals can be toilet trained, especially not farm animals. At the pet enclosures (dog & cat parks), the poop is cleaned much more regularly as visitors are allowed to go... More

My wife and I visited the Ostrich farm on 24th Dec 2016 at 9.15am in the morning. Upon arrival, an Indian lady came to bring us to the counter and told us it was 15 Ringit per pax. I paid her 50 Ringit. She quickly asked if we were Malaysians. We said no and she promptly returned me 10 Ringit.... More

Thank you, Daryl, for your visit and review. We have the Normal pricing which is for everyone. For MyKad holders and permanent residents of Malaysia, we have a discounted price. This is in line with our government's policy of encouraging domestic tourism. The Indian lady made a mistake in not asking you to show proof of Malaysian citizenship or residence... More

Awesome and diverse fun for the entire family. Fun for smaller children feeding the animals and older ones with archery and quad bikes.
