It takes a bit of walking to reach the lighthouse but the view is really worth it. Some wait to see the sunset. The lighthouse itself is closed to visitors but we can walk around it.

While the light house is easily within reach, Bukit Batu Putih ofder the best view of the sea and the bay of Port Dickson. To reach the hill, you have several option, the easiest is to locate a trail entrance about 50 meter before you reach the lighthouse. The entrance is on the right side. Walk for about 15minutes and... More

Pay at the entrance and keep walking until you see the lighthouse and you find yourself the path to Bukit Batu Putih at the right. Just a little bit jungle trekking plus hiking you will reach the limestone called bukit batu puteh. Sea view from above with limited spot. We plan to camping at the beach, the beach like a... More

Did a little hike up to the lighthouse, it was opened due to some event. View was okay. I see there are little trails off the main road, so maybe can try for those more adventurous ones.

The lighthouse is the venue for the annual Raptorwatch organized by Malaysian Nature Society. Its great to visit at this time (March) as the Nature society would organize guided trail walks and you get to see the raptors as they come over from Sumatera. The walk to the lighthouse is moderately steep.

After a 90 minute drive from down town Melaka & a 30 minute steep hike though 160.900 square mitre of mostly untamed wild rain forest to arrive at a 67 steep concrete staircase to the inaccessible Cape Rachado light house that was built in 1528 & is facing the straight if Melaka. Forget the lighthouse because the all time star... More

This is a small but beautiful lighthouse on top of a hill. Prepare to take a 15min walk up the hill, as you will need to leave your car behind to the gate. At the site, there is no access to the lighthouse or close to it. Only option is to walk around the lighthouse loft which is surrounded by... More

The cape is located next to Pnb Ilham resort. Visitors have to register at the entry gate. The climd was a challenge for me as am 56 yrs old. The view was beautiful. You can see a whirlpool there.
