Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Always came here for open-water swimming practice or events. Beach is not very clean, always got garbage around the beach and park.Have small food court which consist of local malay food stalls and groceries and swimming accessories stalls.

Beautiful white sanded beach. Breezy all year round due to its strategic geographical location beside the Straits of Melaka. The facilities are just nice and okay, they have some picnic tables around and a clean public toilet and bathrooms. Tall trees at the edge of the beach makes it another photo spot

It's just an average beach with no amazing sights. Certainly nowhere near the standards of the beaches on the East Coast but if you don't want to travel too far from Kuala Lumpur, you might be satisfied with this.

Lovely beach with wide sand bar. Sadly full of trash and not maintained. Water quality is not suitable for swimming.

This beach was so deserted when we were here. It was dirty - rubbish here and there. We were bitten by lots of sandflies. However, there were lots of shells to pick and most of them were still intact. During the low tide, there is an island nearby that you can walk to - but there is nothing except some mangroves.

This is one of the less popular beaches in Port Dickson even though it is located on the same road as a few of the other better maintained beaches.

A relatively quiet beach along the 2nd and 4th mile Port Dickson road. A couple of resorts are located along this stretch of the beach. There is a wide expense of sand at low tide and mangrove islets can be reached on foot. The waters here are shallow and gentle with some kite flying, water sports and minimal fishing activities.

To have a nice clear water and peace mind ocean wave. Try to visit as early as you can while starting low tide, there are many small crabs will surface on sandy ground.

Visiting period - started low tide
Visiting time - 11am -12pm ( depending on sea tide)
Visiting Month - July (Malaysian Ramadan month) less crowd
Location : Just opposite the Petronas gas station beaches

Generally speaking, the beaches in Port Dickson are nothing to shout of. The beaches are so-so, not so clean and sadly the sea is not so inviting for a swim. At some beaches, the sea is murky. Bagan Pinang is one of some good beaches to relax in. It is not that far from town (about 3rd mile). I liked the white, soft, powdery sand here.

It is nice if you want to spend time away from the cold weather.
The weather is beautifully warm and nice. Most of all, it is very relaxing! You can spend the whole afternoon by just sitting there and enjoy the sweet coconut juice. Or there are plenty of water sports to do, such as banana boat, jet-ski or just jump into the calm warm sea...
