Redang is an beautiful island off the East coast of Malaysia. There are ferries available from Merang or KT jetty - you could check with your hotel regarding the ferry. The white sand beaches are mind blowing and pictures are just like in picture post cards !! A must see for anyone visiting Malaysia !! But note that the island... More

The access jetty of the island seems little crowded during the peak season. However once we had stepped into our hotel we were away from all the crowds and noises. The island offers beaches with powdery white sands at different locations. Snorkeling sites are also beautiful and easy even for the first timers. Overall its a beautiful island. Highly recommended... More

Redang still maintains its charm as a serene, beautiful coral island in the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia. I've visited Redang 4 times for the last 20 years...not that often...ya. Stay in 3 different resorts. All resorts are quite nice but don't expect good service. Just stay away, and I mean "stay away" from one called Redang Holiday Villa Resort... More

Recommended stay is 3 days 2 nights. One of the perks is of course swimming with the turtles. Simply Amazing! I stayed on the village side of the island.

We stayed at Laguna Resort. Redang Island is beautiful. Turquoise coloured water and the softest white sand. We snorkelled and swam with turtles and it was fantastic. As in a lot of popular tourist areas now, the coral is mostly dead. If you are lucky enough to find a quiet area there will be some coral regenerating. Apart from that,... More

It was my first time out of my country and I was very excited, when I was reaching the island on boat I was very mesmerized with the water color and beauty of the island. The two day stay on that island was the best island tour I ever had.

I wanted to visit an island not inundated with tourism. The Redang Islands are beautiful. The snorkelling right from the shore is like nothing I've seen. I swam with so many species of fish, including sting rays and reef sharks. We went out on a boat trip with another family we befriended one day. Sea turtles, nemo fish, huge lizards... More
