Although we visited here on a rainy day it is a nice little blue village. A lot of moments to take pictures but do be mindful that people actually live here so you don’t want to invade their privacy. I booked a tour via Viator...More
Beautiful little city. you can just go to medina and wander around, you always find your way out. All the streets have their charm. The sellers are not as annoying as in other big cities (like Fes) so you can enjoy your shopping there.

The best itinerary will be Marrakech, Atlas Mountain then you can visit essaouira. You can have 1 day break in rabat (the capital, you can see some historical sites) because of the distance between essaouira and Fez. Then you can go to Fez and if you have time you can visit Volubilis (it’s Roman archeological city near to fez), then you can go to Tanger and Chefchaouen and you can fly from Tanger. Feel free to ask me if you have other questions.

It is quite small. It depends how much shopping you want to do. The locals who have something to sell will not leave you alone for a second! They are very, very pushy. I think an hour or two is plenty of time.

It's not that big. You wont even need a full day but it extremely depend on you yourself and how you enjoy visiting such places but try every (and I mean every) alley or path as you will enjoy every inch of this blue town!
