Walking the streets of the Medina and seeing the incredible artisan goods is an experience not to be missed. The people of Morocco are amazing, kind and lovely. Highly recommend!

So it’s good bargaining time. It’s more hilly than other Medina so wear good shoes. Might be a little tough for older folks.

It is a small town in the hill of green mountain 2 and half hour drive from tangier. A lot narrow alleys painted in blue. Very pretty under sunshine and nice for photos.

Beautiful blue walls, cobbled walkways, many alleys, some narrow and some a little wider, clean generally and well kept. All windows facing out into the alley has grills on them. Beautifully decorated with colourful potted plants and flowers. There are many many smalls shops selling...More

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in Chefchaouen. People are nice and the place is cozy. You can just enjoy the good view with your hot tea or coffee.

This is a beautiful spot to visit and just walk around everywhere and enjoy tea or coffee, classic Moroccan shopping, great food, sweets from tiny little wood fired bakery, and stunning views. People were so friendly and helpful. We bought a stunning rug here and...More

Although we visited here on a rainy day it is a nice little blue village. A lot of moments to take pictures but do be mindful that people actually live here so you don’t want to invade their privacy. I booked a tour via Viator...More

Beautiful little city. you can just go to medina and wander around, you always find your way out. All the streets have their charm. The sellers are not as annoying as in other big cities (like Fes) so you can enjoy your shopping there.

This is such a beautiful city- not only due to the blue buildings but also the location- it’s nestled in the Rif mountains giving it a magical secluded feel. It was awesome walking the narrow windy streets surrounded in blue. The buildings are beautifully kept...More

The best itinerary will be Marrakech, Atlas Mountain then you can visit essaouira. You can have 1 day break in rabat (the capital, you can see some historical sites) because of the distance between essaouira and Fez. Then... More

It is quite small. It depends how much shopping you want to do. The locals who have something to sell will not leave you alone for a second! They are very, very pushy. I think an hour or two is plenty of time.

It's not that big. You wont even need a full day but it extremely depend on you yourself and how you enjoy visiting such places but try every (and I mean every) alley or path as you will enjoy every inch of this blue town!
