There are plenty of companies in Morocco offering this kind of trip at a cheaper rate than Desert Majesty - but I very much doubt that there are any offering a better one.

Our trip was flawless, the company were easy to deal with and their organisation slick.

I have to mention, in particular, our driver Norddine. He was polite, knowledgable unfailingly on time and a good, safe driver.

Ours was a long trip and while Norddine made maximum progress on the road he always did so smoothly, in a safe manner and at an appropriate speed. We always felt very comfortable with his driving.

I offer two examples as to where Norddine stood out from the crowd. At Alt Bin Haddou we were amongst hundreds of tourists climbing the hill but only Norddine knew to also stop a short distance from the town where the best views and photographs were to be had.

We later Visited a nomad camp. This had the potential to be embarrassing for us as we poked about and photographed inside their home. Norddine however was a welcome visitor because, from his own volition, he had brought along a bag of blankets and clothing for them.

A good, decent man!

The hotels were good and I make particular mention of the superbly appointed Tinjoseph guest house.

Our two day stay in the Luxury desert Camp was quite the highlight of our trip. The warmth of the hospitality and the attention to detail they offered were second to none.

I have no hesitation in offering my whole-hearted recommendation to anyone considering this trip.

Desert Majesty is a professionnal tour organizer which is really accommodating with competitive prices. As a solo traveller, they managed to make me join a group in order not to be alone for this amazing experience and to pay less. Our emails exchanges were very nice and reactive.
We had a 2 days/1 night trip from Ouarzazazte to the desert which is organized as planned in the description. However, our fantastic guide Hamid did more. We never had any restriction of time and we stopped wherever we wanted. It was actually like being on a road trip with friends.
The night in the desert was an amazing experience. We were only three in a luxurious campement with more staff than us! They were all very nice and generous people. The tant we slept in was huge and comfortable.
I highly recommend Desert Majesty (and our guide Hamid if you can choose) to visit Morocco, either to go to the desert or to visit the cities.
In two words : thank you !

Thanks to Desert Majesty we had a wonderful and unique experience traveling from Marrakech to Merzouga. Traveling in the context of covid-19 was not an easy decision, but thanks to Desert Majesty and all the safety measures it implemented (Sterilized vehicle, masks, hand sanitizers, etc.) it ended up being one if not the best and secure trip we ever had. And what to say about our driver and guide Salah, whose knowledge, professionalism, and sense of companionship made this trip truly priceless and tailormade. The accommodations were cozy, clean, and very suitable to our needs and the food was very tasty and fresh. We weren't rushed into anything, we took the time to enjoy each visit even if it would delay the rest of the program, we could always find a solution to make up for it with Salah. The main takeaway of our experience with Desert Majesty is that everything is centered around the client's satisfaction and for that we would highly recommend them and for sure we will be using their services again.

Myself and my partner booked the 4 day trip from Fez to Marrakech via the Merzouga dunes. This was the most rewarding part of our two week holiday in Morocco. Our guide, Mohammed, was a gentleman, extremely knowledgable, and friendly. His knowledge and understanding of his country and his ability to convey it to us made the trip all the more special. We were introduced to local guides that Mohammed had rang ahead to prebook us with - all of which were outstanding. We were treated with respect and a smile from everyone. Mohammed was perhaps the most well known man in Morocco and everyone it seemed was happy to see us - We were given free dates as we passed in traffic through his home town by locals who recognised him. He spoke truthfully and honestly about his local village and each village we passed, highlighting the realities for all aspects of society in Morocco, all with such positivity and pride. He took an effort to get to know us, and in four days we became excellent friends. He is a credit to himself and an invaluable asset to Desert Majesty. We met with Felicity who greeted us warmly and endeavoured to find out about our trip and made sure we had been well taken care of. All correspondence with Desert Majesty was quick, informative, and detailed. We paid in full prior to departure (a decision I made to limit the amount of cash on me in person) which according to Felicity is rare in her experience, but I have no issues with recommending any future traveller to do the same - This is a company I will definitely return too and highly recommend to anyone. Morocco is a beautiful country and the 4 day trip is a wonderful, relaxing way to do it.

My friend and I recently took a 4 day/3 night desert tour with Desert Majesty. The trip was overall very enjoyable and memorable largely in part due to our amazing driver, Ahmed. Not only was he able to help keep the trip interesting through the long drives, but he also made sure to stop at any major sites, allowing us to take pictures, and also helping ensure that my vegetarian friend always had great food options beyond just simply tagine and couscous along the way. We had a chance to ride camels in the desert as well as see the sunrise from the dunes while also had opportunities to stop at major historic sites. Additionally, we saw how local women make rugs and also got to see how rosewater and Argan oil are made for use in beauty products. Overall, I would recommend this tour to anybody that has never been to morocco as it allows you to leisurely experience the country without having to worry about all of the details of food, hotel accommodations and travel. Our hotels, and riads were very clean and comfortable as well as offered great food choices, which allowed us to experience the Moroccan culture more thoroughly. This trip was made especially memorable because our driver, Ahmed, was so hospitable and was very helpful in making sure that we felt safe as we were two females traveling alone through morocco for our first time. Overall, I would recommend this tour to anybody that has never been before and urge you to ask for Ahmed as he was a safe driver and will take care of you like family. Thank you for everything Desert Majesty and Ahmed. I will always remember this trip.

This is such a joy to read, and I feel as if I were on the road again following each part of your itinerary. Thank you for such a fulsome description of all your experiences and thoughts of the itinerary that you took - it gives such a clear picture for anyone planning to explore the Moroccan south in a similar way. I am so pleased that Ahmed ensured that the vegetarian food was good - we have come a long way in explaining to restaurants that an increasing number of clients are vegetarian and wish for a wholesome variety of dishes. Thank you so much for your recommendation. Felicity

We spent 5 days on a magical tour with Abdulwahed going all over the Sahara region from Ouarzazate to Merzouga to M'Hamid, stopping everywhere in between. Everyone was incredibly welcoming and hospitable, the camps were extremely comfortable, the food was delicious, and they anticipated and provided for everything we could ever have needed or wanted, from preheating our tents before we arrived to welcoming us with tea and snacks at each stop. Communication with the company beforehand was smooth and easy. They tailored our itinerary to our specific hopes, dreams, and complex budgetary needs. They were also able to accommodate our (multiple) food allergies at every meal. Being gluten free in Morocco is very difficult, but this was one of the easiest trips I've ever made food wise, thanks to the care and attention our hosts paid to our needs.

We were thrilled with our tour in the desert. It wasn't our first time to enjoy the sunrise and sunset in the Sahara, nor was it our first ride or trek on a camel, but it WAS our first time driving on the dunes! Our skilled guide and driver was excellent - calm and relaxed, despite the adrenaline rush of driving on (sometimes deep) sandy trails across incredibly beautiful and seemingly un-navigable desert terrain.
Our only regret is that we would have liked more time to just chill in the dunes. We had a short 2 day tour. Our drive in and out to Chagagga were quite long, so a day in the middle to just hang out at the camp and relax/play on the dunes, or to do a longer camel trek, would have made it perfect.
The team at Desert Majesty are welcoming, genuine hosts in a land off the beaten track - which is well worth a visit under their care.

Dear Cara, Thank you for taking the time and the effort to write such a detailed report on your trip to Erg Chegaga with us. We are delighted that you enjoyed the highlight of your desert experience including the sunrise/ sunset, the camel ride and especially the off-road driving in the Sahara Desert. Thank you for all the nice words that you had to say about our service and office staff. We thank you and we wish you a safe return home.

Our experience with Desert Majesty was wonderful. I had been communicating with Felicity way back in 2019, before COVID, and our trip was actually postponed for September. Felicity worked closely with me to transplant our itinerary onto Spring, 2021, which worked out really well and, luckily, we were able to have a magical trip, in spite of 5 flight cancellations through Europe back home to the U.S.

My wife and I toured with Desert Majesty for a week, and then did a couple of days with them in Essaouria. They were all extremely communicative, professional, caring and essential in helping us explore this beautiful country.

We worked with Hamza (guide) and Khalid (driver), who we were very happy with. They were always caring about our well-being and happiness, and went out of their way to make sure we were having a good time. Being introverts, my wife and I also wanted plenty of quiet car time, which we got, and it just "gelled" working with these two. Hamza taught us a lot about Moroccan culture, history and the Moroccan people (including the Amazigh people), and Khalid's driving always left us feeling that we were in good hands, especially when off roading to Erg Chigaga and Erg Chebbi.

Desert Majesty offered a range of accommodation choices, and Felicity guided me through the best choices for us, which turned out extremely well. My wife and I were often the only tourists at many of these hotels or riads, which is unfortunate because of COVID, tourism in Morocco has taken a hit. We were satisfied with our lodgings, the comfortable and newer-modeled SUV that we drove in, and generally everything provided for by Desert Majesty.

Abdelhadi, the operations manager, was always available to me through WhatsApp, and helped me organize things I needed such as the last-minute tour to Essaouria, logistics, handoff from porters/riads in cities to drivers, and the little things to make a seamless experience in Morocco.

I would, without hesitancy, recommend Desert Majesty for your Morocco tours, especially if you are considering going out into the desert part of Morocco. I would consider them friends, and plan on connecting with them again when my wife and I return to Morocco after COVID is over.

I booked two fantastic trips through Desert Majesty - A 4 day/3 night dessert tour in Southern Morocco and a 1 day/1 night trip to Essaouira.

Dessert Majesty worked with us to identify itineraries that fit our timing and interests. The team was highly responsive, which made the process pretty seamless.

Throughout the tours, we were impressed with the destinations and accommodations. Our trip gave us exposure to stunning natural scenery, as well as local arts and culture. The accommodations were very comfortable (we even had showers in our tents in the Sahara), and offered wonderful hospitality. Our group definitely left feeling like we had gotten great value.

Our guide was also great! Abdul was a friendly, knowledgeable, and upbeat! His genuine excitement to share his beautiful country with us made us feel incredibly welcome. He was also a great driver and very knowledgeable about each of our destinations, which left us feeling very safe.

Overall, I would highly recommend Desert Majesty!

Thank you for the clear overview of all your experiences with the Desert Majesty team and the trips themselves, especially the trip in the south to the desert. That makes it clear to others what they can expect from Desert Majesty as well as this lovely part of Morocco Felicity

What an awesome experience this was! We travelled for 4 days from Marrakesch to Erg Chegaga and back and had a private holiday for two that we will never forget. Hamid, our guide, was the coolest guy we could think of spending our time with on this journey. If you get a chance, ask for Hamid, you won't regret it. He made us feel very confortable driving for hours through the desert and the Atlas mountains, answering every question and showing us all the hidden treasures of this stunningly beautiful landscape. He is a true local from Southern Morocco (M'Hamid) and knows about every person down there - a big advantage. He even stopped the car and got us some fresh dates from the f****** palm itself! #Ehrenmann

The accomodations, the food, the recommendations on the way - everything was first class and planned with an eye on the details. We visited numerous Kasbahs and had a local guide for each of them, all included in the price.

Don't get me wrong: I know that there are cheaper tours available out there but all we can say from our flawless experience is that Desert Majesty is worth every single Euro/Dollar you spend on those memories for a lifetime.
