The beach of Punta Jesus Maria offers the best sunset on the island of Ometepe. If you turn around you will also be met by lovely views of the volcano in which we also had the full moon in the field of view. Quite a...More

The most amazing and wonderful sunset in my whole life. I have seen there 3 sunsets and swum. It was sick!!! You can rent a motorcycle or take a tuk tuk or hitchhike like me to moyogalpa.

We went for sunset, it was cool, but both volcanoes were in clouds, so no great photos. They charge you to enter that beach too, and again you get nothing for that, you can just sit in one of the bars for drink. Beach seemed...More

We read about the "1 km of land jutting into the lake" and we were driving to Mayagalpa so we made a point of stopping in. It was mid-afternoon as we pulled in and just starting to rain. As we walked to the entrance some...More

They did seem to have a restaurant, though I did not visit it so not sure about the menu or the prices. Hope that helps! Sorry for the late response
