Loved this place. Mellow (homegrown) cup of coffee for elevensies, a tootle round the garden and back to Angelica’s Restaurant for the Menu del Dia - really good and tasty food. The walk from Aguas Calientes took just over an hour, the scenery was super...More

We really enjoyed our visit to the Mandor Gardens / Waterfall. It was a short, flat hike from Machu Picchu Town (maybe 1 1/2 - 2 hours at our speed). The hike wasn't all that great (you're walking along and on train tracks for most...More

We had a free day in Aquas Calientes. The hike to Jardines de Mandor was pleasant ,easy, and very rainy. We got soaked. Make sure you have dry duds to change into after.

Not to strenuous a hike, attractive waterfalls, and the restaurant can make you a good cheese sandwich afterwards on whole wheat with tomatoes and cucumber.

We were recommended to visit the gardens and we were not disappointed. It is quite a walk at the side of the train track. Possibly over 2 miles. You purchase your ticket from the cafe opposite for 10 sol and enter the gardens. You walk...More
