We spend an hour and a half, in the pools after walking in the ruins. And it was really relaxing. It's about 20 soles to get in, and then there is free baggage storage included. Remember a towel, soap and sandels. There is also a...More

Me and my boyfriend had a wonderful time in the hot springs after the day at Machu Picchu. They serve drinks at the pool. We had a really nice sangria. For information you can only pay with cash, dollars or sol. We will highly recommend!

Was looking forward to the Hot Springs, but ultimately found out they are just basically small concrete/tile swimming pools of hot water pumped in. It felt dirty and unhygienic. If you are spending more than two days in Aguas, I guess it’s worth checking out,...More

It's probably the worst hot spring i have ever been too - it feels dirty, there aren't much variety in terms of pool temperature, the facilities are run-down, bathrooms are not up to my standard in terms of cleanliness BUT there just isn't anything else...More

Don’t waste your time. You would think that in this town called “aguas calientes” this place would be an amazing retreat. After the 15 minute hike up the hill, we paid the entrance and hiked even more. One look at the pools and I immediately...More

Don't expect a spa experience, this is four common pools with varying degrees of temperature, nothing insanely hot, but very enjoyable after a long day hiking. Even the walk from the entrance to the pools was lovely (5-10 minutes), and there were lots of towel...More

Enjoyed a visit to the hotsprings just after lunch and our timing was perfect as it wasn't very busy. When we left an hour and a half later we met two groups of school children coming in which would have made it a bit crowded....More
