This was a nice place to stop while taking a long hike in the area! The staff was very friendly and knowledgable about the life cycles of the butterflies in the attraction. There are restrooms, cold drinks and a patio on and enjoy the river.

We went just after visiting MachuPicchu and was great!! A small place, very simple, but our guide showed us very curiosities of the butterflies, like: every butterfly has a unique vegetable to grow.

Yes - we just walked there from Agues Caliente and it was quite a nice hike! You can ask any of the local hotels or information booths and they can help you with directions!
