We took a public bus from the area around the Nazca bus station to the museum for 3 soles per person, and the ride took about 20-30 mins. The museum is located not far from the mirador (viewing tower over some of the Nazca lines)...More

Maria Raiche explored the Nazca lines from 1932 until her death in 1998. What she did, mapping the images (before one could fly over them) was awesome.

I found this museum a little bit disappointing. It is (was) Maria Reiches house and office, close to the pampa with the Nasca Lines in San Miguel. Everything is left like it was. Even all her drawings are still lying there and are going backward....More

This could be such a great museum - as it should be, considering Maria Reiche basically discovered the Nazca lines and due to her efforts and life long commitment, the lines are known to the world and she dedicated her whole life restoring and studying...More

between the two miradores, the museum is a good stop, and , once there you gonna see a tatooed mummy from over a mylennia.
