One might not necessarily think a museum about tribes that included headhunters would be that dynamic but I stand corrected. It is not large in terms of space but it very nicely gives some insight into the local tribes, including the Kalinga, known for being...More

Museum is closed from 12nn to 1-m. Entrance fee to the museum cost PhP70. Good area to spot a few fine collection, some are poor (and some incorrectly) labelled. There's a small area to read some books at the souvenir shop.

The Museum showcases lot of heirloom pieces fro the Cordillera Region. But what I love best is the outdoor Museum where there is a huge local cherry tree and bontoc huts and herbs. Truly wortht to visit.

I will never forget our visit to Bontoc for two things -- the Lang-ay Festival and the visit to this lovely Bontoc Museum. It gave me chills in my spine to know more of who we are as Filipinos beyond the things that we've got...More

Located at the heart of the town, this museum is very rich in information about the culture, tradition, and history of various provinces. It gives you a clear understanding and view of Igorots (native settlers of Northern Philippines) which really helps in embracing the life...More
