The Palace of Culture is one of the symbols of Iasi. Built on the place of the old princiary palace, this neo-gothic construction will definitely make you visit at least one of its museums.

Spent a couple of hours here on a a Saturday morning. Go early if you want to miss the large groups. Make sure you stop by the torture exhibit if you need some shock therapy.

I grew up in this city and even if I visited several times the museums inside the Palace it is always a pleasure to return with visitors; my favorite is the ethnographic museum, you can discover how Romanians lived a couple of centuries ago
