Wide open space surrounded by bars, restaurants and small shops. Nice place to sit and watch the world go by.

Just a nice place to be for a while. Across from Fira coffee shop. Can see Traian hotel from there. Nothing special, really.

We reached this place walking from the Palace area and what it hit us was the ugly communist building and the many tonnes of cement used to make this place so boring. It is supposed to be the centre of the town with some hotels...More

This square is in front of my hotel (unirea). It’s a nice place for passing the time, filled with people and pigeons :)

PIata Unirii is one of the two main centres within the city of Iasi. Occasionally there are markets here. It is a good meeting place. There are cafes and restaurants, hotels, and the tram and busses stop near by.

This square was the center of an event (FILIT) while I was in the city. It seems to be the main square where people meet for activities nearby. There are a lot of bars, restaurants and entertainment possibilities nearby.
