Situated in downtown Ploiesti, this museum is something really unique, worth visiting. If you are in the city, I recommend a visit here. You won`t regret it.

As a watch lover (modern watches) I had the curiosity to see some history as well. The museum was opened in 1972, has more than 1000 pieces exposed that date back in 1634, 1654, 1693, the first pocket watch in the world (the Nuremberg egg)...More

Recently renovated has a unique collection of watches, in Southeast Europe.The building is located near the Chestnut Boulevard, which also has buildings belonging to the national and local heritage. You must see it, also building and watches collection!

Not a big museum but a very interesting one. Many timepieces showed in a chronological succession from the solar ones to some modern exhibits. A small museum filled with clocks from mostly the 18th and 19th centuries. There are small pocket watches, pictures containing clocks, mantel clocks, grandfather clocks, and many more types on display in a beautiful home. The tour can be completed in less than an hour...More
