The Bucharests' Gate is a gate that marks the former entrance in the city, today standing like a landmark that is forgotten, as you can't visit it inside and there are a lot of rubbish around it. Actually, it's hard to reach it as you...More

Like other reviews have stated, this isn't really a tourist attraction as yet but it is something that you will pass on your way into or out of Targoviste on the way to Bucharest. The gate is an impressive building on the way into town...More

This is Not a turistic attraction. This is not an historic monument. You can't visit it and it should not be listed here. So, if you are passing by, just don't pay attention to this gate. It's built in around 1980, above a dirty passage

An old historical place, unfortunately not suitable for visiting. Despite the place is visible, it is not well preserved and you cannot visit it.

You don't really know if this is an turistic atraction or not. No indication, no identifying plates, no history of the place showed on vue.Rather an "not like this" turistic atraction example.

It is the first contact with you dear traveller when you reach the former capital of Wallachia coming from Bucharest. It is the first "Bastion" that kept the enemies outside the walls if they were coming with no peaceful thoughts. And stands from middle ages...More
