Very nice city to visit and the old town behind the walls. Much less touristy than Kotor. Fine hotels and nice beach beside nice restaurant.

We couldn't keep away from old town Budva with its' intriguing cafes, stalls, museum, bars. This place had it all. We found fascinating facts and art in every step, it was well worth 2euros to walk the ramparts of this ancient town.

I liked Budva much better than Kotor. It was less busy with nice boutique shops & felt much more relaxed. The views out to sea were beautiful & I enjoyed just relaxing with a drink & watching the world go by. Outside the city walls...More

Before the city starts, stop and enjoy the culture of Mediterranean sea plus local habits. The old city offers various possibilities of sightseeing and food, of course.Try to avoid the tourism hot spots, close to them its cheaper, better and more interesting.

Much smaller than most we have seen during our trip through the Balkans. All very nice ........little bars, restaurants, boutiques and gift shops. Right along to the end of the beachfront.

The old town of Budva is highly recommended. The walls are similar to the Kotor old town but smaller.there is a citadel and views of Adriatic seas. Lot sir shops and restaurants and a beach

Budva is one of several walled cities around the Dalmatian coastline - Dubrovnik is of course the best known and preserved, followed by Kotor and then Budva. Unlike the other 2 cities it is not possible to walk around the walls admiring the views -...More

Budva definitely worth a visit. Explore the old town and head for the water for a scenic walk along the beach and rocks. A great setting for lunch or coffee. Recommended.
