It's not as big as some other temples but beautiful nonetheless and I believe the oldest in Anuradhapura. The small ruined temple to the right has some lovely carvings at the steps and a beautifully preserved moonstone. Nice to wander around for a few mins

All the Stupas and Dagobas must be visited!! They are sort of similar but different in their own way :) Some are massive while some of smaller in size.

This is a compact(small)stupa, said to be containing the collar bone of Buddha,in that respect it is an important shrine.A walk around the stupa is recommended.

This is supposed to be the oldest Dageba in Sri Lanka, which was built by king Devanam piyatissa . A must visit for those who explore history of Sri Lanka.
