We walked around the premises, without really stepping inside the temple. We did not see the point, as it semt very similar to the cave temple that we just had visited. The premises and the structures are beautiful and you will be greeted by monkeys,...More

The ticket cost itself was Rs 1500, and no sooner we started our tour, we were told that the temple doors will be closed for the next couple of hours for worship. I would have expected either the money to be returned or even better,...More

Great sight but there's only so many temples one can see as a non-Buddhist tourist. The roof area is good, where rhe monkeys hang out and the restaurant is FANTASTIC AND CHEAP

This is a bit overrated as it’s man made golden temple in the current era. There is not much historical significance here.

Cave temples with beautiful Buddha's. Serene and peaceful atmosphere. It is more expensive for tourists. You will have to climb steps to get to the Temples and will also have to take off your shoes before going into the Temple. Overall, it is worth the...More

We loved the serene atmosphere of this place. Not too many people around midday luckily. Maybe beginning of July is less busy. Take shoes that aren't worth too much as you have to leave them at the entrance.
