I had a great experience,
They were on point with their calling and booking ,
Good on arrival with the information ready , I was lucky and had the whole both to myself with a wonderful dive master Nalin .
The crew are knowledgeable and make you feel safe and comfortable.
Equipment is scuba pro and well maintained

I was a little nervous as I hadn't been diving in four years. The team were kind, took their time with me and carried out a thorough refresh dive in the pool. They brought back all my training and I felt ready for sea.
I did two dives with them, the group was small and experienced. The dive master was friendly and safety conscious. The boat captain was really helpful with getting in and out.
The dives were really nice, I was able to see lots of large fish, some eels and some really small things too.
Thank you for some great dives!

Dive for You is a five star PADI resort within a five star hotel in Hikkadawa,a well recognised and established location for scuba diving.
You arrive at 0900 hrs at dive centre within the grounds of the hotel - very modern with a selection of well maintained equipment.The standard documentation was requested as expected and there were no short cuts It was US$75 for two dives and all the equipment not withstanding petrol costs for 20 min each way boat ride.
We were a group of four advanced open water divers and were supported by two master PADI instructors on our boat and entered the boat direct from the beach a few minutes away. This location is in the vicinity of major muddy river outflows so visibility is impacted as well if there is additional rainwater
So it was no surprise that the first dive at a depth of 32 metres had no more than 1 metre visibility with little marine life but it improved to 5 metres although little cloudy at 20 metres with a variety of typical tropical fish as well as shoals around a pinnacle.The other dive was a rock dive off shore.It had a variety of rock formations with typical tropical marine life - not teaming with fish There are many dive sites at this location so it sometimes more difficult to make an informed opinion on two dives alone as to underwater topography and marine life
However it provided me with an opportunity to maintain my skills at more than 30 metre in unfamiliar territory under the guidance of one of their divemasters

The whole experience right from the moment we went for inquiry, to the practice in pool and finally the dive in the sea was absolutely impeccable. The experience is so good that i would recommend it to every one. The professionalism and care and friendly manner with which they made us comfortable in learning all aspects of diving was amazing. The diving experience itself was out of the world. I am sure to go back to Hikkaduwa for next level diving with them. Well done and a big thanks to Dharshana and team.

I was really happy with my PADI open water course.
The team was really fast with answering my emails and where really flexible with when i could come on each day.
I always felt save and my questions were answered professionally by my Dive Instructor Udeesha De Silva. He spoke perfect English and was a big help in opening this new world for me. Thank you!

I did my PADI Open Water course here in December and would really recommend this place if you want to do some dives or get you PADI while in Sri Lanka.
The crew is amazing! They are doing everything to make the dives comfortable and fun. The communication of the dive center is fast and clear and their materials are in good shape. They will also be honest if the dive conditions are not good enough and are really putting your safety and comfort first.
I spend a full week with the team and absolutely had a great time. My dive instructor Udeesha was very patient, knowledgeable and his English was great. Besides teaching all the important skills, he also made sure that the learning was fun. Also all the other crew members, were really encouraging, kind and fun and really made this whole experience unforgettable.
Last but not least, both Dharshana and Liana are so kind and caring and they will do everything in their power to accommodate your schedule and request.

I have came to visit for advance diving license solo and it also prove this time I made the right decision. My instructor is very patient and caring therefore the 6 dives are very pleasant and exiting, water are very clear and I have seen multiple corals and colorful fishes. I strong recommend “Dive for you” and please come by any chance you visit Sri Lanka.👍👍

While staying in the Hikka Trans hotel, we decided to 6 dives with Dives For You.
Every expectation was fulfilled! The dive guides are super qualified and will show you all that they can find under water and that is a lot!!
The dive sites are very, very beautifull. If you can, go to Black Coral Point & Kirala Gala. It’s below 20m so you need to be an Advanced Open Water diver.
Also, try to do the wrecks of the Conch & the Earl of Shaftesbury. They are very much worth it and not that deep.

First time diving in Sri Lanka, I really didn't know what to expect in terms of the service nor the diving conditions itself overall.
As I'm not very confident, I wanted a dive company/guide who will understand my confidence level and support me accordingly.
Had contacted a few places around the southern coast and Dive For You which had the best reviews, were super quick with their responses. Unlike some other shops, they were engaging, sharing information and were interactive from the first email itself.
So, I didn't hesitate choosing them when we moved to Hikkaduwa to dive.
The shop is in the Hikka Tranz premises and the staff were amazing and super helpful from the moment I got there.
What impressed me the most was how professional and up to international standards they were: from checking your certifications to making sure you know your basics (by getting you to set up your own equipment, as it is important for your own safety), to briefing of the dive itself.
Dive sites are not too far from shore, so it is about 5-10 minute speed boat ride. Be prepared to do a backward roll, which scared me a tad at first, but looking back was actually super fun.
My Divemaster Nalin was cool and calm and so was Asanka who was managing the shop that day who did the briefings and helped with all the initial formalities. They have all been diving in Sri Lanka for over a decade, so very well knowledgeable of the area.
If you are looking for a reliable and professional dive company when in the south of Sri Lanka,(they sometimes move to the east coast middle of the year when the monsoon seasons change), highly recommend Dive For You.
I couldn't wait to explore Sri Lankan waters and ended up doing 3 dives that day. It was bliss. Thank you Dive For You, team for making sure I had a great (and safe) time underwater.
Will definitely be going back with them, whenever we are back in Hikkaduwa.

The cost for a single dive is 5600 Sri Lankan rupees (per person) and for a double dive it is 10500 rupees, or if you want to do a 10 dive package the cost is 47600. The price is all inclusive - equipment etc.

We're arriving in May and would like to do snorkelling as I don't swim. Do you offer snorkelling as well?

The Dive centre itself does not organise any snorkelling trips how ever it is possible to snorkel in the area. We don't hire out snorkel gear as the gear is reserved for our divers, but there are usually gentlemen on the beach whom you can rent a mask from. Please be careful going into the sea if you are not a swimmer.
