This temple is mostly considered as symbol of Jaffna. God Murugan is considered Tamil god and this temple is one of the most prominent temple in the cities. It's a must visit in Jaffna.

It's beautifull Hindu temple. With multicolors paintings ..in Jaffna lots of ppl are Hindus..and this temple is more historical too .after the civil war, more of the people are keep going.specially lot of locals.and now lot of other country ppl also visiting .specially Indians.

it's a Hindu temple. many visit as tourists. g8 place. close to the temple is the Rio ice cream parlour etc.

A beautiful place to visit, relax, calm down and recharge..very serene and loving atmosphere..helpful priests and uplifting pujas..a must visit, if you are on a spiritual quest..

I visited during the morning and almost burnt my feet into pieces! you need to remove all footwear before entering the compound, and walking on the sand that has been heated by harsh sun is no fun. I got out of here fast!

The Nallur Kovil is definitely worth the visit as it is a major Hindu shrine in northern Sri Lanka. Men are required to remove their shirts upon entering the Kovil. There are not many foreign visitors with most of the people being local. It is...More

The massive and Cultural place to visit. . morning 5 they open and 9 after pooja they close and again 12 pooja and night after 6.30 its closed during normal days. Where cultural dresses to visit inside. (Male should remove shirts to go inside)

This is a Hindu shrine. Tourists are allowed to visit there. Gents should remove their shirts when entering there. It is a Hindu tradition and respect it. It is good place to take a visit and get the god blessings if you travel Jaffna.

Everyday between 4.15 pm to 6.45 4.15 pm a small pooja 4.30 pm special pooja Another pooja 5pm and 6.45pm
