This is a great place to get a general idea of how large Kandy is and the view is worth it. A few traders around selling their wares but they don't hassle you much.

It's not very far from the Kandy town. From this place can see the Kandy town making anyone's mind relaxing!

We'd booked a tuk tuk to the Botanical Gardens and the driver pulled over here for us to take photos. I can't say I'd have walked up or taken a vehicle up there if we weren't already passing. The view is good - obviously better...More

Easy enough to walk to from town, maybe 15-20minutes walk. At the point you are rewarded with a great view over Kandy town, the lake, temple and the hills. Definitely worth a stop.

This is nice place ..to view the Kandy city ..this looks beautiful in the night my recommendation would be to attend the Kandy cultural program and then go to the view point to see Kandy at night .

It is about 2000 meters above sea level and gives a good view of Kandy. This makes it a hill station. The viewing platform is very nicely erected and safe

We passed this everyday to our hotel , we actually thought it was the bus stop until we realised it was the view point. Views are amazing and worth the visit.
