Great tour around the factory for no charge. Delicious cup of tea in roomy, relaxing lounge upstairs and the opportunity to buy some tea without any pressure to do so. The staff were lovely.

This factory is also called Geragama Tea factory, and is just off the Kandy to Colombo road. We have been life time tea drinkers, and were surprised at how involved the manufacturing process is. Not simply drying out the leaves as the school teaching would...More

A nice short trip from Kandy, an informative free tour around the factory finished with tasting a good tea. However we couldn’t understand our guide completely, but it was still cool.

Hi I was also shocked at the price but the silver tips is not as nice as the green tea. I think as foreigners we are conned into buying these various teas. On line this is cheaper.
