Unless you like a few carved rocks, and some weird dude chasing you around, making sure that you don't take photos, this is by far; not the main attraction if you go to Sigiriya.

Not a huge museum but some interesting information and artefacts. Worth a quick visit, especially when entrance is included in your Lion Rock ticket!
The museum contains the story of Sigiriya and some replicas or even real stuffs. Don't expect any air-cons inside LOL And you are not allowed to take pictures inside the museum.
This was just OK. I wasn't fully blown away. I do recommend just browsing through. However, be mindful of the stuffy smell inside. If you have mold allergy, this may bother you a bit.
We didn't know the ticket to the site includes the entrance to the museum. We came back the next day anyways and paid again to go in. It's worth coming back because I got to learn more about this place and see the story of...More
There are extremely cool archaeological exhibits in the museum, but it needs to have a little bit.of renovation and tidying up. Nevertheless worth a stop by.
