This is a very beautiful and dangerous beach. It was not SO beautiful that it was worth a 40 min boat trip and kind of boring hike. Pros - Bocas is very undeveloped and this was one of the only places where there is civilation...More

We were in the Bocos, Bastomentos, Isla Caranera area for nine days and explored many beaches and destinations. We discovered Red Frog was the nicest and cleanest beach in the area and we return several times

We came during December- surf season. The waves made it extremely difficult to swim & there was sometimes a lifeguard on duty whistling at ppl to get out of the water. The beach itself was beautiful, quite, and loads of space just to put down...More

Red frog is probably the best beach in bocas del Toro, but that isn't saying much. There is a lot of trash on the beach and since you are captive, all places gouge you on food and chairs. Basically is expensive and low quality.

Too much wind. And big waves break right at the beachfront. Not a place for kids. Wanted to go kayaking but the conditions simply dont allow it

So glad we stayed right at this beautiful beach (at Red Frog Bungalows). Truly nature at its very best. Take bug spray and sunscreen!
