About
We specialize in bespoke Tiger safaris in India and wildlife tours in various national parks. We have been doing safaris over the last 3 decades in various national parks. This gives us an understanding of types of sightings that happen in different parks in different months. Therefore we are able to suggest the best park and the program to our guests. Our on-ground naturalists will ensure you have meaningful excursions during the safaris. We have organized over 25000 safaris over the past years of operations. Our regular and referral guests are our goodwill ambassadors. Our motto is Conservation Through Tourism, i.e to make tourism an alternate economy for the local community dependent on the forests for bio-mass. Through our safaris, we increase awareness of our rich bio-diversity, and thus the need to conserve the same. We are recognized by the Ministry of Tourism in India and are part of all mandatory associations and government bodies. We are a unit of Nature Safari India.

I booked the 4 night 5 day Tiger tour in Bandhavgarh. I worked with Abhiskek Kumar who was always available and responsive. On my way I stopped in Delhi and ended up with a free day. On the spur of the moment I asked Abhiskek to set up a tour of the city. A car, driver and tour guide were arranged. Naresh Chadha was my guide and he was extremely knowledgeable of the city. We had a delightful ride on a bike rickshaw through the spice district that was incredible. Once in Bandhavgarh, my accommodations at Tree House were lovely. Delicious food and very attentive staff. I had a private jeep all to myself. My guide Sanjay Gupta, who grew up in the area, was superb. His knowledge of the flora, fauna, birds, tigers and history of the park was amazing. I was lucky enough to see tigers everyday and even saw a couple mating! I would highly recommend working with Nature Safari

Nature Safari India arranged a 4 night stay at Pench Tree Lodge. From there, we were able to take seven safaris into Pench National Park.
Spectactular! That's pretty much it.
I didn't have high expectations of a tiger sighting. A combination of good luck and a terrific naturalist gifted us with three sightings. Magnificent and exhilarating!!

My daughters and I really enjoyed our first tiger safari in India Bandhavgarh NP with Tiger Safari India / Nature Safari India in mid Nov 2023.
First, I had to thank Ms. Ishana Vats for helping me to plan this trip. She was very prompt to reply my emails and I felt I can trust her.
We were met at the Delhi airport by Mr. Deep and were looked after by a team of excellent people from the start to finish. Our guide cum driver, Mr. Atul was very hardworking in spotting wildlifes.
They put us up in Treehouse Hideaway with excellent service crews. The meals was fantastic and the treehouse was cosy and tidy.
I Highly recommended Nature Safari for those traveling with children and old folks. Most importantly, I felt very safe in India with my girls.

I was looking go on a tiger safari and I found Deepkul and Nature's Safari on the internet. Deepkul responded quickly and presented me with several options. I selected the 7day 2 park option. From there, Deepkul took care of every detail, from picking me up at the hotel to returning me to my hotel in New Delhi at the end.
I was meet at the airport in Raipur and taken to the Kanha Jungle Camp. The accommodations were spacious and comfortable. The camp is set in the jungle and the food and staff were excellent.
Each day, I had 2 runs in a jeep with a guide and driver, all of whom were exceptional. In both parks, I saw all types of animals especially I saw tigers in both parks. It was a thrilling experience. The only recommendation I would make is that 5 AM to 11:30 AM is too long for the morning run. I felt that after 10 AM, the heat of the day kept the animals in hiding and I was exhausted and needed some rest to be ready for the afternoon runs, which is when I saw the most animals.
At Bandgavrth, the Tiger Den was, also, very comfortable with a good staff. It was in the city, which allowed me to observed the celebration for the god, Durga, which was an added bonus.
I recommend Deepkul and Nature's Safari without reservation.

Heartfelt gratitude for your review, "Tigers and Tigers". I am glad you found us and Deepkul responded quickly with several options. He takes care of all points in the tour, and ensures that the tour is seamless in all aspects.
I am happy to note that you found the the lodge/camp excellent as far as food and services was concerned. Your safari excursions with our naturalists yielded good tiger sightings is quite encouraging to read. Our ground team in these parks is highly experienced, and enthusiastic, they do their best to show tigers to their guests.
Noted, that you found the morning safari in Kanha a bit long. But one has an option of coming out early if one wants to. Perhaps our naturalist did not get this hint and continued with his search to show you tigers and other wildlife.
I will convey your kind words to both the lodges/camps, and Deepkul who took good care of your tour.

I cannot speak highly enough of this company, from the initial contact with Sharad and then Abhishek the communication was first class. All queries were answered quickly and thoroughly and the information provided was more than adequate. In the end we booked 4 nights at Tree House Hideaway in Bandavgarh which included 8 safaris. They also arranged internal flights, transfers and hotels in Delhi. During our 4 days we had 4 really good tiger sightings and our guide/naturalist (Sanjay) was superb, he was knowledgeable, spoke good English and showed us a variety of the wildlife in the parks as well as being able to locate the tigers.
This was our first visit to India and we felt really spoilt with the service we received so thanks for making our trip so memorable.

I took the services of Tiger Safari India to visit Pench National Park and Kanha NP. To be honest my experience over exceeded any expectations. I had assigned truly experienced naturalist guides. At the first NP, where I spent two days, I had 5 very close sightings of leopards, a close encounter with Indian wild dogs and I tiger sighting. Apart from this highlights the ecosystem of Pench NP was very impressive, with many other species including huge numbers of spotted dear, gaurs, antelopes, langurs, etc. Then I moved to Kahna NP, where in 3 days of stay I saw 5 sightings of tigers including a female with two one-year-old cubs. I would recommend Tiger Safari India to everyone that wants to secure good sightings of wildlife.

My heartfelt grtitude for your "True Nature Experience". I am glad you enjoyed the Pench and Kanha National Park safaris you undertook with us. We have an experienced team of naturalists in the various National parks that make all the difference in the safaris when it comes to tracking and positioning of safari vehicles during the big cat sighting.
I am glad you saw the wild dogs in Pench and 5 different tigers in Kanha National Park apart from the various other animals.

If you are looking for an amazing safari experience in India, I highly recommend seeking out Nature Safari India as your "go to" company for your safari experience, especially if you are single and traveling alone. All the staff at Pench Tree Lodge were exceptional.
From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and safe, which was an important factor for me since I was traveling alone. I had the pleasure of staying in Tree house #3 while on safari. If you have never stayed in a tree house, this experience is a must. Every aspect of my experience was exceptional. From the warmth and kindness of the manager to the amazing food prepared by the chef, Pankaj.
Every meal I experience at the lodge was made from ingredients from the organic garden they have on premise and was prepared fresh for each meal. Each meal was a culinary delight which I eagerly looked forward to each day. The staff at the dining hall were attentive to each little detail and often anticipated a need before I could ask. The cuisine and service were equal to any 5-star dining experience in the States.
Even though this was my first safari, it was clear from the start that my guide, Radhe, was a master at his craft. His knowledge, expertise, and passion for the wildlife was evident from the first day. During my three-day safari, Radhe taught me more about the Pench National Park and its wildlife than a college course could have. With his expertise in "tracking" I was blessed to see 2 tigers and a leopard over those three days. Thank you, Radhe, for the safari of a lifetime!
To sum up my stay at the Pench Tree Lodge and safari experience, I felt like I arrived as a guest, but left feeling like family!

In Feb 23 we finally set forth for our Indian Tiger Safari adventures, 7 years in the planning and delayed for 3 years by Covid. We combined our safaris with Indian sights, including some that focussed on family history in Indore, Delhi, Shimla, visited major Indian sights - Delhi, Shimla, Jaipur, Indore, Maheshwar, all put together beautifully by Sharad Vats. We got our feel for yesteryear and the British Raj when we stayed in an old palace in Shimla, The Woodville Palace Hotel, in a Haveli (an old mansion house) in Jaipur, and in a former palace with a current prince in residence at Ahilya Fort. We also stayed in regular hotels, generally 4 star. We visited many historical monuments and sights, visited the Taj Mahal (with amazing guide called Khizar who is both very knowledgeable about the Taj and Agra Fort and also a wizz on iPhone photography including "trick" photography. For these locations, he knows all the tricks and places and poses for "professional" pictures of you all with your mobile phone camera. You hardly need to take photos yourself), we walked through markets, made woodblock prints in Jaipur, hiked a mountain in Shimla and at loads of nice food.
Our tiger safaris were the absolute highlight of our trip and we visited three National Parks - Jim Corbett National Park (5 safaris) , Bandhavgarh National Park (7 safaris) and Kanha National Park (5 safaris). An original itinerary for 2020 had us doing shared jeep safaris, and on Sharad's advice, we changed and undertook all safaris on an exclusive basis, which was so much better. Each park gave us several fantastic tiger sightings including "our own tiger" on several occasions and these "own tiger" sightings were aided by the incredible skills and knowledge of our drivers and guides - Vijay and Pervej in Corbett, Ajeet in Bandhavgarh, and Mahish in Kanha. They know the names of all the birds and animals, and they know just where to look for the tigers, and pointed them out when we couldn't see them!
The national parks are spectacular, with awesome sunrises and sunsets and you are removed from the hustle and bustle and crowds and traffic of daily Indian life, to experience space, animals and birds and the natural environment in a peaceful way. Each park was different in its own way, and we saw all of the common animals - tigers, many types of deer, sloth bears including with babies, jackals and pups, wild dogs, elephants, many many birds including peacocks galore. I think the only animal we didn't see was a leopard.
The planning for this trip began prior to Nature Safari's visibility on Trip Advisor, and resulted from a pot luck internet search which sounded interesting. Sharad replied very quickly to my first email and it all began from there - Sharad was happy to accommodate anything we wanted to do, rearrange the itinerary and so on, and was always quick to answer emails, answer questions and provide information. When we finally arrived, we were met at the airport by Deepkul and a driver, and had drivers and guides with us the whole time we were in India, making everything hassle free and all the arrangements seamless. Deepkul maintained contact with us via Whats App and phone, providing driver and guide details to us for our new locations. All drivers were professional and safe drivers in the midst of what we saw as mayhem on the roads, helpful, and the cars air conditioned and immaculate with "supplies" of snacks, water and soft drinks, and Wifi!! They stopped when required, took us to nice clean roadside restaurants with generally clean bathroom facilities and western toilets. Some of the drives were incredibly long, but this really helped us cope with them.
If I had to say our favourite place - I would say Corbett and Dhikala lodge, it was where we saw our first tiger, and the location of the lodge within the National Park is great, and it is very beautiful overlooking the river. Its a very rustic lodge, vegetarian only, and sometimes the power goes out (take a torch), but we loved it none the less.

In a world where too many species are already extinct, this Tiger Safari is a must-do. We got up close to many species and got excellent photographs. We saw sloth bears, Indian gaurs, mongoose, a barrel of monkeys, peacocks, thousands of deer, macaques, leopards, beautiful birds, wild chickens, wild elephants, and, of course, WILD BENGAL TIGERS...lots of them!! Traveling in India (Hindi spoken) might have been challenging/intimidating were it not for the step-by-step hand-holding of Sharad, Deepkul, and Abishek. They shepherded us thru every challenge without a worry. I have never seen customer service and intimate personal care of this level anywhere else in the world. Thank you so much, Tiger Safari India.

Hi,
The safari tickets are booked out at such short notice. Only place you can perhaps consier going is Ranthambhore National park. There you may try buying tickets on the booking window. Ranthambhore is 400kms from new Delhi, about 8 hour drive. Normally safaris are booked 3-4 months in advance, My suggestion is to replan your trip after october as the parks will close by 30th June for monsoon.

You needed to ask the question earlier as it is already Friday. It takes 7 hours by train from Delhi to Ranthambore!!!!!!! Have no idea about whether you can book using cash. I was all inclusive.

I am really keen to book a trip through Sharad, however my only concern is payment. Apparently the only way of paying is bank transfer which I am very worried about having been scammed in the past. Does anyone from UK have any advice or words of reassurance!? It is a shame they will not take credit card.

From New Delhi closest park is Jim Corbett National Park, it is about 6 hours drive, or 4 hours by train. Then there is Ranthambhore National park which is 8 hours by road, and 5 hours by train.
