We had a great time with our driver visiting Agra Delhi jaipur udaipur Jodhpur jaisalamer and pushkar over 12 days. Our driver, Karam, was welcoming, on time and positive, he regularly checked in with us to make sure we were happy with the itinerary and took us to excellent local restaurants to try upon our request. I would recommend using this service if you want a comfortable whistle stop tour of the chaotic Rajasthan!

What an amazing experience! Karam Singh was a fantastic driver and great company. He listened to all our requests, and took us to great local restaurants, and recommended meals specific to each location. He was also so helpful with helping us find Specific souvenirs, helping to get good prices. Can’t recommend him enough.

We booked an one-week personal driver with my wife for a tour of Rajasthan. Guru is an excellent and very professional driver. He was very efficient throughout our whole journey to find the best routes and sights for our tour in Rajasthan and in negotiating fares for admissions to monuments and hotels. In addition, Guru is quite knowledgeable about many areas we visited and managed to provide us with some personal insight, which was very helpful. On a more personal side, Guru is very kind and friendly. I highly recommend him.

We booked a one week personal driver with my friend to visit Agra, Jaipur and Delhi after a wedding in Hardiwar. Our experience was so pleasant, our driver managed guides and everything we needed for us (restaurant, massages, etc.). This is definitely the best way to travel in India.

Just the best guide, speaks great English, finds you the best Hotels at phenomenal prices and just a down right honest, decent man. We have used Gurmukh on a number of occasions and we’ll use him again. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

The taxi arranged by GuruMukh Singh was good, clean and meet my expectations for 2 person travel in Delhi, Agra and Jaipur for 8 days.
The taxi driver - Mr Girish Goswamy was excellent. 18 years of experience in tours-travel industry was evident, by his understanding on Customer needs. Each traveler would have different objective though travel to same place. Mr Girish understood and in many occasion he helped protect, prevent some bad experience during our travel in India. Health and Safety.
Gurumukh ensure safety of his clients by constant communication with his driver and other tour guides. Making sure that we are taken to place of interest or must see places, Tourist based retails and Warehouse sales outlets and constantly feeding recommendations for restaurants , eateries, hotels etc. His intents are good in providing those information, decision is yours.
In some occasions a tour guide is needed for walking around with a peace of mind, For example if you walk into Agra fort without a Tour guide - there would be 100s of "tour guides, Salesmen and photographers whom will pest all along the walk. You'll never be able to enjoy any sight seeing. The down side of engaging a full-time tour guide through out your day-travel, is that tour guide dictates and decide every thing, from where you eat, where you purchase, how long you stay in each spot of a monument and what you see or not. I had such bad experience with one Tour guide, whom claimed that Tour guide fee is free and will be paid Gurumukh Company. I asked him, how could it be free? Anyway - then we directed the driver to take us to a Warehouse sales Handicraft station, instead of going to Agra Fort. We had no intention to purchase, but once you are in the handicraft store, they keep pestering to purchase something with all kind of stories.
The same tour guide insisted that we must follow his tour plan and listen to all his explanation in Agra Fort. I told him, I don't need the full explanation as we have learned /read it in books and information are available in finger tips. The fact that tour guide too was reading it out of Google.
He got angry and walked out, saying - If you are not interested to listen everything, then walk by your self.
The driver was not able to help or interfere as they have certain procedure/unwritten agreement among all the working parities.
As we walked out of Car, to Agra Fort an English-speaking gentleman approached with official tag or tour guide. Good tour guide are available on the spot at each monument at reasonable price. You got negotiate prior to engaging their services.
He took some excellent photos, knowing the right spots.
The experience in Taj Mahal - had a good tour guide whom eventually become our photographer. Coz bad experience with Photographer engaged at Taj-Mahal entrance. Tons of photographer available with DSLR cameras. However they, expect a minimum # of 40 photos or approximately INR5000.00. Which we said, it really depends on how good the photos turn up. Which he agreed for lower number.. The pose suggested were kind of backdated, mechanical and shots were imperfect, blurred, eyes closed. The photographer's comments in their local language was sarcastic - condemning our expectations were like models. There were only 8 reasonable acceptable photos. Well, As usual Indian style - photograher walked out refusing to print the 8 photos. Across another bench a family of 5 from South Indian was "crying/Frustrated" with out come of another photographer. Maybe many frustrated customers in Taj-Mahal.
The upside - We met a cleaner at Mosque of Taj-Mahal, whom have some of excellent photographs of Taj-Mahal, with reflections on "water pool" made by him. Just a small tip was sufficient. High flying photographers can be a frustrating deal after all.
Jaipur -- A well planned city with awesome palaces, forts etc. The Pink city building are beautiful in travel logs, books and website like in fairytales.
Unfortunately - I just could not step out of the car, coz the streets were filthy with garbage, human manure, drains running on the road, An environment not suitable for weak hearts and stomach. I love walking and exploring each architecture, beauty of places , lifestyle. I had never been able to do it in Delhi, Agra and Jaipur due to extremely bad hygiene conditions in streets. The free flow spitting marks of paan on streets, buildings, walls -name it.
I know - there is nothing Gurumukh or any of tour organizer could do about it. Neither could I walk-away giving fake reviews of awesomeness, when it was never a value for money experience during the overall travel.
The only Upside is - having good Car and Excellent Driver in Girish Goswamy which reduced the stressful holiday. One of the most stressful holidays in lifetime.
