Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This place is best as far as sports is concern. This place transforms into amazing vibrant place whenever some food event or any other event is there.
Top be extra cautious about gate no. , gates are pretty far from each other so if you reach wrong gate you may have to walk a lot

Was there just yesterday for the Street Food Festival organised by National Association of Street Vendors of India (NASVI). Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium was constructed for Asian Games 1982 and all major functions for the Games including opening and closing ceremonies were held there. The stadium has a fabulous track and field arena. Major cultural and sports events are organised in this stadium which has huge capacity for visitors.
For the Commonwealth Games 2010 the stadium was reconstructed and it held all major functions for the Games. It is truly a world class sports facility in the country.

It is a sports stadium build around 30 years before and hosts big events like football matches , common wealth games etc . It is very much approachable from Bharapulla flyover , Moolchand's chand road, Nizamuddin road , etc . It is very close to the Central Govt Offices at Lodhi Road . The area is well maintained . The outside lawns of the stadium is used to park the vehicles whenever pragati maidan exhibition exist . There will be free shuttle service from stadium to pragati maidan to avoid congestion very good place. It is attraction only if there are matches.

Attended the Mughle-Azam show recently. Was seated in balcony area Row NV (third from the back).

As we know the front center seats are considered to be the best and also the VIP seats. However, if one is attending a dynamic light and sound show, a little distant seat provides a better & fuller picture frame. So one could choose either a center seat on the ground floor or consider the first two rows of the balcony. The balcony view provides a better viewing experience as one is looking"down" at the stage. People at the ground floor, specially too close to the stage are stretched to look from left to right or right to left as characters move on the stage. Also since there are props on the stage for various scenes, the viewers are looking at the stage from "below", or at best at eye level, if they are seated towards the back of the hall.

The audio system of the hall is excellent. However, do not expect food stalls inside. As at the airports, security is extremely tight and one is not allowed to carry even water bottles and medicines.

I visited the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium for my race. It was like a dream come true to run here. The stadium is big and beautiful. Many events are held here frequently, like the Indian Super League, several marathons, etc. Ample parking space is available.

We recently went to JLN stadium to watch ISL. The best part of the stadium is vibrant crowd. Delhi police controls crowd professionally inside as well as outside of the stadium.

Amazing statdium, by far the biggest and most decorated stadium in India. it was built for the purpose of Asian Games held in 1982 in India and was again rebuilt for the common wealth Games in Delhi in 2011. It has a capacity of sitting 80000 (Eighty Thousand people for a single event.

We attended for the Commonwealth games. The exterior was like a building site and the signage poor. However the actual stadium was great for the occasion. We returned a year or so later for an India vs Bayer Munich football friendly. It was not only in a worse state but all the seats were covered in thick dust, everyone was trying to wipe seats with bits of old tissue. Is no-one employed to clean? at all? There is no civic pride, a sadly recurring feature of Indian public places. A great venue spoilt by poor external planning and maintenance and an apparent "dont care" attitude.
