Address
Neighbourhood: Connaught Place/Janpath
Connaught Place, the heart of New Delhi, is one of the largest commercial, financial and business centers in the Capital. The sprawling horseshoe-shaped circular heritage market is a white dot in the green city, filled with shops, art & handloom emporiums, fashion boutiques, an underground market, cinemas, a range of vintage and new restaurants & bars lined along the inner and Outer Circle. In the midst of all the hustle, CP is great for chilled out evening strolls and people watching, introducing the beauty and rhythm of the city. The ambience gets more colorful as you stroll along Janpath and the Central Cottage Industries Emporium, considered among Delhi’s best shopping areas.

Janpath is a street Market Janpath New Delhi. It's a broader Market with Casual Dresses , Handicrafts, Fashion Accessories, Bed and Pillows coveres etc. Specially the prices are very reasonable and affordable. It's a really good feeling roaming around this area , helping talented locals buying their creations. Other side of the road available decent restaurants and eateries.

Good walk, cold in the month of January
Good for a stroll and pickup things if needed. Everyone sells the same stuff, so dont get excited and buy from the first vendor you see. I believe if you can afford something pay for it, dont negotiate too much, these people have a tough life and are still recovering from covid losses.

This market as I believe is mostly popular for decorating, antique and crafted items than dresses unlike other markets in Delhi. It is stretched around the outer circle of CP.It is popular among students and tourist alike. Some good footware shops are here. Only thing require here is bargaining. The more you bargain the better price you get for your desired product.

Janpath Market is a bustling and vibrant shopping destination located in the heart of Delhi. The market is known for its wide range of merchandise, including clothing, jewelry, accessories, and handicrafts. Visitors can find a variety of items from street vendors and small shops at affordable prices. The market is also famous for its antique shops, where visitors can find unique and rare items. The vibrant atmosphere and bargaining culture of Janpath Market make it a must-visit destination for shopaholics and tourists looking for an authentic Delhi shopping experience. The market's central location and easy accessibility make it a popular destination for both locals and tourists.

A very nice market in Delhi for tourists. Very nicely located in the heart of Delhi, in the well organized and clean Lutyens Delhi. There are a number of shops selling Indian handicrafts, authentic pashmina shawls, clothing, jewellery, footwear and tourist merchandise. The paths are broad to walk in with a group. All shop owners are friendly and helpful. Some bargain as well but some are fixed price and make shopping easier. There are very good good options just across the road which make it in all a great area to spend time at if you're visiting Delhi. My favourite store was Kcs Kashmir Shawl Emporium which I found to be the most authentic shop selling pure handloom pashmina shawls.

A great market for tourists - foreign and Indian. You will find the amazing Indian handicrafts, clothes, footwear, jewellery, and my favourite - pashmina shawls. Pro tip - store no 94 is one of the most authentic ones for Kashmiri pashmina shawls. Great food options right on the other side of the road. The Mcdonalds is a very well maintained and courteous one
Very near jantar manat and Connaught Place. You can walk it.

Even though several people told us that is was closed due to the Metro construction, it is still open. These people are just trying to lure you into different shops!
If you are looking for a good bargain on indian stuff, this is the place to go! But remember to haggle hard.
