Ensure the time you're visiting isn't the peak hours, so that you can enjoy the place. Lots of stalls (very messy at times)

Nothing spectacular but must if you visit ND. Looks like any other arch of victory but since there is no much to see in ND this is unavoidable spot.

It's a must go if you are visiting some places in Delhi , though it doesn't offers a lot , but the place is quite more interesting to those who have known the hardships of the soldiers and their sacrifices.

Well, it is impressive but you are not going to spend a long time there! Best to wind it in to a much broader tour around that area including the place of Gandhi's assassination and the Government Buildings and wide thoroughfares contrasting with old Delhi.

The monument itself is cool and reminiscent of a variety of war memorials across the world. The best part is people watching and being part of a typical local Indian activity. Go on a Sunday when you can mingle with hundreds of locals in a semi carnival like atmosphere. Just a great way to hang out with everyday Delhi folk.
