Iskon temple is a place where you should head when you need to spend time with yourself and God. It is very close to bustling Nehru place and yet very tranquil surroundings once you are inside the temple. Must visit place in your iternary when you are visiting Delhi.

In a city that seems otherwise unspiritual and a bit unfriendly, this temple is an oasis of love, joy and pure devotional bhakti! Best experience I have had in two trips to New Delhi! Whether it us to blissful darshan of the deities or absorb the positive energy of the brahmacharis absorbed in kirtan, this is a must-experience place in... More

This review is rated from a western tourist perspective. Those seeking spirituality will find more here. It was an interesting experience - there are sound and light shows (Rs300 per foreigner; a lot standing involved) gift shops, a vegetarian restaurant, a veg snack-bar and views of the rather striking architecture. The S&L show can give insight into what the Krishna... More

ISKCON Mandir in Delhi is simple wonderful. This place is not only for spiritual seekers, but also for those who admire Vedic Architecture. If you are looking for a peaceful place to meditate or chant mantras, the morning is the best time to go. After, if you are hungry, you can get snacks or full meal in Govinda's Restaurant. Great... It is a Vaishnav system Radha Parthasarathi temple, known as Iskon Mandir at Hare Krishna Hills, located East of Kailash in New Delhi. It is similar to all Iskon temples in India, has many rooms for priest and halls for ceremonies and seminars. People, specially Vaishnav believers gather here for daily puja and festivals. It's now a place of tourist... More
