a walk in Lodhi garden brings a refreshing feel in chaotic city . There is an old world charm with various Mughal tombs. The park is well maintains with places for fitness, yoga and lush greenery. Parrots, ducks, pigeons,,,,all add to the charm of the walk. A good place o spend sometime and unwind

When you need to get away from the huge crowds and traffic of Delhi, take time to visit the beautiful quiet and tranquil Lodi Gardens. Walk across grass lawns, through gardens, sit on a park bench, or enjoy some yoga, all the while enjoying several ancient monuments and modern sculptures.

A great place for a walk and to see some fine Sultanate period monuments. If possible, try to read the late historian Simon Digby's article written in the 1970s about the place before going. Sara Mondini has recently published something about the place as well.

This park is a quiet place to stroll with locals. The tombs in the complex are beautiful and there aren't as many tourist as other places, very enjoyable!

Summers or Winters, you are gonna love the arrangement of greens. Being favourite with celebs too, it's the most seeked place for jogging. For people visiting it from far away places, Jor Bagh metro station is the nearest, its a ride of 10-15 min. One penny extra: An ideal place for an artist to paint his canvas.

It is a great place to be in fresh crisp air and very safe for single walkers or visitors . the tombs are amazing and the frescos in one of them should certainly not be missed . The pond has a great fountain but not working all the time and that is the downside

This is a lovely place to spend two to four hours just wondering the beautiful grounds and exploring the historic buildings. Put it at the top of your list if you are visiting Delhi - it will calm your nerves after facing the noisy and chaotic city.

Apart from the historic relevance of this place, it is frequented by a lot of locals for its amazing jogging track. I am a running enthusiast and really enjoy a good run at this place, whenever I am in Delhi. The gardens here are beautiful across all the seasons and have been maintained well by the authorities. The monuments inside... More
