We did a Golden Triangle tour in India in Sept 2023. We were recommended by friends to use Tree Trunk to organise our trip with us!
We were extremely impressed and very happy with Ravi and the Tree Trunk team. The level of service was excellent. We were so fortunate to have the best driver we could possibly wish for, Visan was amazing! I am sure all the drivers that Tree Trunk provide will be good but Visan was exceptional, good fun, always there and nothing was too much trouble, he quite frankly made our entire trip we all got on so well. When travelling around for two weeks and with the same person almost every day it really matters and we miss him now we are home!
All the other details that Tree Trunk dealt with were good, Ravi worked with us and help build a great itinerary, we booked most of our own hotels, Ravi booked a couple of hotels, organised train tickets where necessary and internal flights. We felt very well looked after and although had a very organised trip we were able to go off piste when we wanted everyone was very flexible and accommodating.
Top marks for Tree Trunk, we will return! My wife is heading back to the south shortly and again will be using Tree Trunk without hesitation!

The trip arrangement made by Tree Trunk Travel was immpecable. The tour was planned accordingly to suit our every request. We thank specially Mr. Bhanu Prakash for ever being helpful throughout the tour and for taking care of every detail to ensure we had a lovely holiday.

Incredible India was our tour including New Delhi, Agra and Mumbai and the icing on the cake 7 National Parks offering the most amazing animals. India being the only country where Mammals like lions, tigers, leopards and bears are found amongst many others, as well as the rare one horned rhino, water buffalo, Indian bison, gazelles, antilopes and deer. It is like the ark. So amazing and well looked after by the Indian Government.
Ravi meeting us at the airport upon arrival with a garland of flowers and escorting us to our hotel with vouchers and details of our travels. Every time if there was a flight involved Ravi send us boarding passes an evening in advance. The time we traveled by train he escorted us to the appropriate compartment. Believe me, that's not an easy task in Delhi. When we had a question we send a message which was answered within a short period. Ravi is very reliable, organized and trustworthy tour manager, which all the local knowledge needed. We can recommend him any time to any interested future customer who would like to do this most memorable tour into parts of India, where few westerners have set foot,

Wonderful trip and quite full on so not easy to organise. We stayed in 4 different
Safari lodges, all were superb. We topped the trio off with a trip to Agra and then a last day sight seeing in Delhi. I had an idea of where we wanted to go and Tree Trunk were very accomodating with my bespoke trip. All drivers between locations were great, although most spoke little or no English, but this did not matter really, its the driving quality that counts! A big shout out to driver Sanil though, he tried very hard with his English and engaging with us. We had a couple of hiccups with an internal flight and one of the Safari bookings but Ravi was quick to resolve them. Thankyou for a wonderful trip. Worth the wait as this was booked over 4 years ago! The only thing I would say is that our Safari guides spoke barley any English so hard at times to know what was going when waiting around for potential sightings, not too massive an issue though.

We four friends did a customised tour of the Western Ghats. We able to adapt the itinerary to suit our interests, mainly birds and wildlife with some culture. It was superbly organised, our own good driver, excellent hotels. At each destination the guides were top class.
We began in Kochi with some history, moved on to Athirapally falls, then to Periyar River Lodge and the Thattekad bird guide - this was one of the best highlights - among many! He was a star and we saw so many birds, Sri Lanka Frogmouth - have a look! Then up to Munnar, lots of trekking. Then over into Tamil Nadu and fantastic Hindu culture and the flower market. Back into the hills for walking, rafting, eating thali, trying toddy shop, spice farm, Keralan culture shows..... And then the houseboat, unbelievably luxurious, what a way to see the backwaters. Our bird tally 128 - and lots of animals. Thank you Ravi for such a great experience at such a reasonable cost.

I have no words to describe how supportive mr. Ravi was during our trip to India! We spent 22 days travelling from Delhi to Kerala and back and we just loved it!
We were 10 people travelling by bus from one place to another, having different guides in all the places we visited.
Mr. Ravi knows his business, this is sure.
Very good organization, smooth communication and professional handling urgent matters! We got way more than we expected!
There were couple of times when we needed assistance late in the evening and Ravi just made things happen.
I strongly recommend Tree Trunk Travel's services!

An unforgettable trip and Mr Ravi was fantastic in accommodating our last-minute trip - and an angel for recovering my passport!! (Thank you again Ravi!)
The itineraries were immersive and we had time to explore further sites, while it was also no issue to leave out a couple of bits such as the elephant riding.
A couple of communication problems as at one point it felt as thought too much emphasis was being placed on trying to guide us into their friend's shops despite us saying we had done more than enough shopping! This got a bit tedious by the last day but this was not to do with the company, rather the freelance guide.
Otherwise the tours were wonderful and we were well looked after by guides and our drivers Hanuman and Sunil were lovely and went the extra mile.
Santosh was also brilliant in accommodating our interests and is clearly knowledgeable and passionate about the local history. It was a pleasure to spend his birthday together and explore the nightlife. We felt safe and laughed the entire time!
Would 1000% use Tree Trunk Travel again. Thank you for making our Golden Triangle experience so special.

Tree Trunk Travels organized our trip beautifully from the start of correspondence right upto the end with no hassles during our trip. The hotels suggested were good and the itenary created was spaced out. The transport organized was very clean and was brilliant including the very pleasant drivers. Mr Ravi was a good coordinator and picked us up from the airport with a welcome garlands for every person in the group. The guide Santosh was well read with his knowledge of the sites and was a very professional guide.

how do we handle the "tipping" when there are so many different guides/drivers, etc. we dont wnat to fret every time we stay at a different hotel or have a different person assist us. Is it possible to have the tips included in the trip estimate? we want to spend a month travelling to north and south India.
