Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I have been in palika Bazar and it is really a very good place where you can find stylish clothes that is also very cheap..
My main feedback is for palika Bazar association and for the shop owners honesty and well behavior..
I went to palika bazar and was doing shopping and I left back my laptop bag in one of the shop which contains many secret documents and valuable things. So next day I went there with no hope in mind , but still went there and inform the association about my loss, the association people immediately done an announcement for my bag, and belief it or not within 2 minutes the shop keeper returned the bag to the association and I finally got my bag with all things there...bag is entirely untouched from inside.
So it's my wholeheartedly thanks to palika Bazar shop owners and association people...
I would definitely say that we are having such a place in Delhi where we should clap for the honesty

My favourite place, end up buying things you dont want but hey you are filling somebody'd stomach. Its a vibrant place, just walking around. Lots of eateries however we ate in the neighbourhood restaurants. Negotiate to your affordable price, let them enjoy a bit of profit considering this is their only source of income and are still recovering from covid losses.

This place is a must visit if you're looking to get some shopping done, at some very cheap prices. Bargaining is the norm here, so bring your A game. This market is located at Connaught Place, so you can shop here and then roam around the food shops around Connaught Place.

We had only been looking around Palika Bazaar for about three minutes when a man approached us to point out that my husband had dog poo on his shoe and that he would help him to clean it off. He told us his friend was a shoe cleaner and would charge us only 10 rupees for cleaning his shoe, we relunctantly followed the man to his shoe cleaning friend, however after the cleaning, when we tried to pay 10 rupees as we had been told, the shoe cleaner said this was 'bucksheesh' and demanded more money! They were also encouraging us to put our bags down, which we refused to do for fear of having them stolen. My husband knew this was a scam and had seen this in other countries but I didn't. Someone had obviously thrown dog poo onto his shoe as it was on the top and not the bottom of his shoe. Avoid this and all other Delhi markets, the scammers see Westerners as walking cash machines and will harass you relentlessly! Be vigilant!

If u r not good in bargain and u r going there alone then I strongly advise to avoid this Market especially for outsiders and foreigners,..mostly shopkeepers r fraud, dishonest and ill mannered, first they tempt then harass shopers..Eve teasing is common there they pass comments to girls and foreigners ( I don't hesitate to say that mostly r Mullas ..if u see some body builder type and extra polite person avoid them ) be aware from pickpockets.. Try to shop from fixed price shop and most important don't sped much time in any shop if u have doubt and not sure about quality and fitting. .just come out from shop..and try others...in one word I would like to say them ..Try to avoid purchasing from here ...good place for roaming around only and go in group..not alone..

Palika bazar is an underground AC market where you can get good stuff if you are smart buyer. Bargaining is the rule of this market. You should just keep walking past the store looking at the right thing that you like. Clothes, shoes etc are good buy there. Don't buy electronic as they are fake with no guarantee. Do BARGAIN!! and do not show that you are eager to buy. There is a road market outside too but that is fixed price mostly

Palika Bazaar is one of the most popular markets in Delhi but it is the worst place to shop too. Almost everything is fake and the quality is very low. They sell fake products and often charge high prices for them until bargained. I bought a t-shirt and a belt from Palika Bazaar, which did not last even a month. The t-shirt was faded after 2-3 washes and the belt did not last even a month.

My experience with this place was not good and I do not recommend others to buy from this place.

Palin's bazaar is a place everyone speaks about.
We decided to check it out.
It is an underground shopping centre having lots of clothes and electronic shops.
Some shopkeepers are very patient, some can be rude if you don't buy anything from them.
I hope and pray no fire breaks out in this place
