The architectural marvel of Bul-bulaiyan, nestled within the walls of Lal Kot, presents a captivating blend of Lodhi and Sayyid dynasty styles. As the offspring of Maham Anga, Adham Khan's connection lends historical intrigue to its ambiance. The octagonal chamber, crowned with a dome, exudes an ancient allure, while its maze-like passages evoke a sense of mystique. Visitors find themselves entranced, wandering through its labyrinthine corridors, as if transported back in time. Bul-Sulaiman is a testament to the rich heritage of Delhi, inviting exploration and enchantment amidst its ancient walls.

This octagonal tomb was built under instructions of Akbar for Adham Khan . There is a maze inside because of that it is known as Bhool Bhulaiya . Subsequently it was converted into a residence of Mr Blake of the Bengal Civil Service , who removed the grave to place his dining table . This brought his death soon . Later on this was used as guest house.

The tomb of Adam khan is referred as bhool bhulaiya. It is located just at backside of Qutub Minar. Actually there is no Bhool Bhullaiyya in the main chamber. However, there is a possibility that the Crypt (Basement Chamber), where the actual grave lies is built in a manner that no one can reach there easily. Unfortunately the access to that crypt is now lost. Besides, the corridors on upper story may be complex enough for everyone to understand. Third possibility is that the forest behind this tomb is dense enough. Anyone can get lost there. It is said that once an entire ‘baraat’ was lost inside this tomb.

Adham Khan, a general of the Mughal Emperor Akbar was the younger son of Maham Anga, Akbar's wet nurse. It lies on the walls of Lal Kot and rising from a terrace enclosed by an octagonal wall provided with low towers at the corners. It consists of a domed octagonal chamber in the Lodhi Dynasty style and Sayyid dynasty early in the 14th century. It has a verandah on each side pierced by three openings. It is known popularly as Bul-bulaiyan for a visitor often loses his way amidst the several passages in the thickness of its walls

Right at the center of Mehrauli township this was built by Akbar for Adham Khan, son of his foster mother. Adham Khan was killed because of his impetuous acts. Architecture is good. One can have a beautiful view of Qutub from here. It is called so because at times people would find it difficult to ascertain one's exact direction after passing through its outer and inner walls.
