This place is perfect for shooting ..!!! .. such a beautiful temples ... i mean if you get into history of this place and each temple/monument you will say wow .... dont miss this place if you go near Mysore .. .worst thing is this is maintained by government and you know how it will be ... :(

We are bit disappointed when we arrived there around 2:30pm as local said temple will be closed till 5:30pm. Later we found a rusted board saying about temple timings which is from 9:30am till 1pm or till 2pm then reopens at 5:30pm till 8pm. Other than that, you have to climb around 400 steps up but view from top is... More

This place is about 90mts drive on road,closest from mysore, A rare combination of being a strong vaishnavite centre with 2 temples,with one at the base of a small hillock, and lord narasimha at the top of the hill,around200 steps to climb, giving a aerial survey from above of the whole place with small ponds and lakes. There are two temples that are famous in this town - Sri Cheluvanarayana Swamy Temple - Yoga-Narasimha Swamy Temple Both the temples are okay-ish. - The Yoga Narasimha temple opens after 5PM in the evenings. The small town near Mysore is really worth a visit. You will not see (m)any tourists and get a good insight in Indian culture.

Beautiful temple. Need to climb some stairs pond is awesome there is lake nearby for a great picnic Iyengar Puliyogre and Pongal is must eat here in town. Lip smacking nice rural drive post mandya. There are some Jaggery making homes on way called Aanemane. Drink juice there.

Im verey enjoy in this plac I was verey fantastic day with my friends .this place have beautifil view for photographi and for peace and to find comfort .you can see beautiful view from high elevetion.i think evryone like experience this travel .in the road you can see beautiful view.

several of us went by taxi from mysore and found it to be aperfect one day trip. Close by, easy to get to..so peaceful and relaxing. A temple visit to repeat.
