Above average collection, mainly of paintings and furniture, in poor condition displayed in a dilapidated setting. Another reason to despair about the future of cultural heritage in Mysore.

This palace is nothing compared to grand Mysore palace. Don't go with an expectations to see Palace but visit this place to see beautiful paintings, specially famous paintings of Raja Ravi Verma.

Good collection of Ravi Varma's paintings. But the whole place is very poorly maintained, such a pity that such a heritage place has been neglected like this.
