Lots of stuff, lots of staff. You pick out what you want and take your receipt to the cash counter to pay, then take your paid bill back to where your stuff is to have it released to you to take out. The fellow at the pay counter short changed us on our owed change. I called him on it.... More

Beware of your drivers, even your company drivers, they talk very kind for a week, tell you they know factory outlet etc etc, my wife is pregnant to get you soft on them etc and drive you to fake Cavery emporium before taking you to airport or just during a shopping weekend. You will get ripped in fake shops and... More

There are just two shops run by Karnataka govt which sell genuine products and the rest of the shops are all fake and sell products at... More

We purchased silk sarees worth 3500 each, sandalwood scents and soaps. The face cream was only 350rs while at fake Kavery emporium it was priced at 550rs. The autos and cab... More

If you don't have time to do a lot of shopping, Cauvery stores are a reasonable place to go. The prices are firm. They do not bargain. That said if it says the item is silk or sandalwood - it really is silk or sandalwood. The prices are fair overall. I do agree with one of the previous reviewers that... More

The government of India controls sandalwood, which grows slowly and the tree is harvested after many years. Go to the government shop to get statuary, incense, oils, etc. of the purest sandalwood. The other stuff is secondar.

This is the proper state run establishment, other reviews are confusing suggesting it is not. Godds are good value but the whole place needs a damm good clean. far too many people employed here, they are tripping over each other. Wooden toys are good value as is the sandlewood.

Poor selection and staff is not helpfull to provide you what you are looking for. Not interested and reactive. Do not know alternative location, possibly outside the palace?
