Any art enthusiast should visit CAVA to see for themselves the rich history and heritage of one of the oldest schools and galleries for visual art. Though on this occasion some special program schedule hindered full visit, I'm glad for making time for it.

This is a Visual art School which is affiliated in Mysore University. It was started by the Maharaja of Mysore Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV in 1906 as the Chamarajendra Technical Institute. A unique art tradition on wood inlay is preserved here.
