Little away at around approximately 30 km from Mysore, not a great structure but one can see vast expanse of water and also the outflow there

It is a good place for nature lovers. The Dam is made in Kabani River. Beautiful sight. This dam also provides water to the combined system of Sagaredoddakere and Upper Nugu Dams.

Approachable from Kerala through Bavali and from Karnataka, through Gundlupet, Sargur route. Beechanahalli Dam is a wonderful spot to see and stay for while to enjoy the scenic beauty and walk around in the reservoir area....
